March 2020 Meeting

The March 2020 Meeting is Cancelled due to concerns surrounding Corona Virus. Please stay safe and we hope to resume normal operations in April.


Pat Hutchinson recommends: While we are skipping a NIMC meeting it would be a good time to checkout  Nick Zentner geology You Tube.


He is a geology professor at Central Wash. U.  Has really good programs at about an hour long.  A bit too long to show at our meetings.  Been teaching for about 30 years.  Does a lecture in downtown Ellensburg that is quite popular.  Has lectures on Yellowstone formation, Palouse floods, Ellensburg Blue, Gold in Blewit pass and many others.  He also has some short (5-10 min) lectures, almost too short for our meetings but very well done.

Well, we are 3/4 of the way through this crazy year. Hope everyone is safe and well. The newsletter is posted and another meeting (this month) is cancelled. Hope we can get together safely next month.
